Terms of Service

1. About the service

This site provides automatic video subtitle recognition, translation, styled export, and batch processing. Most of the processing happens in your browser; recognition and translation rely on third-party services. We also offer a number of free subtitle tools that require no registration.

This site provides the service on an “as is” basis. Machine recognition and machine translation results may contain errors; please rely on human proofreading for the final content.

2. Accounts and security

• Please register with a real, working email address. Your email address is the only credential for recovering your account and for receiving orders and notifications.
• Please keep your account and password safe. All actions taken through your account are deemed to be your own.
• Your account is for your own use only and may not be rented, lent, or resold.
• If you discover that your account has been compromised, contact us immediately and change your password.

3. Credits and billing

This site bills in “credits”. The table below shows the current standard unit prices:

Credit packs

Credit packs are a one-time purchase; the credits added never expire and have no expiry date.

4. Creator subscriptions

Subscriptions are offered on monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles. In addition to the credits added, an active subscription waives three per-use fees during the subscription period (the batch processing orchestration fee, the styled subtitle export fee, and the bilingual subtitle export fee).

• A subscription is a time-limited benefit: once it expires you no longer enjoy the waived per-use fees, but credits already added are retained and never reset, and can continue to be used at the standard unit prices.
• If you renew during a subscription period, the validity period is extended from the current expiry date.
• Only one active subscription is needed at a time to enjoy these benefits; buying more than one does not stack the benefits, and the extra validity is carried forward.

5. Charges, failures, and returns

• Automatic return on task failure: if a task fails for reasons attributable to this site, the credits charged are automatically returned to your account, with no application required.
• Charges are based on the task’s actual duration and the service you selected; the expected consumption is shown on the page before you place the order.
• The credit-to-RMB exchange rate and unit prices may be adjusted as operations require; the price that applies is the one displayed in real time on the purchase page. A price change does not affect the number of credits already added to your account.

6. Refund policy

• Credit packs and subscriptions are virtual goods; they take effect immediately upon being added and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Consumed credits are not refunded for any reason.
• Before purchasing, please confirm that the service and the billing method meet your needs. If you are unsure whether they suit your purpose, you can test them first with the free tools and the free allowance before paying.
• Only if the service remains unavailable for a long period, making the credits you purchased completely unusable, will we refund them in proportion to the unused amount.
• Refunds are returned to the original payment channel; the exact timing depends on the payment service provider.

7. User content and code of conduct

You are responsible for the content you upload and process. You undertake not to use this site to:

• upload or process any content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark rights, portrait rights, or other lawful rights and interests;
• upload or process content that violates laws and regulations, or that involves state secrets or the privacy of others;
• scrape APIs, mass-register accounts, maliciously inflate usage, attack servers, or otherwise disrupt the normal operation of the service;
• use this site’s services for fraud, false advertising, or similar purposes.

If you breach the above, this site has the right to suspend or terminate your account; consumed credits are not refunded, and we reserve the right to pursue legal liability.

8. Intellectual property

• You retain the rights to the original material you upload and to the subtitle output generated. We will not use them for any purpose other than completing your task.
• The intellectual property in this site’s software, interface, documentation, and logos belongs to this site; you may not copy, mirror, or use them for commercial purposes without permission.

9. Service availability and changes

• We make every effort to keep the service stable, but it may be interrupted by maintenance, upgrades, third-party service failures, or force majeure; if a task fails for these reasons, we will refund the corresponding credits.
• This site may add, adjust, or discontinue certain features; for major changes we will post an announcement in advance on the site.
• The free allowance and free tools are provided as a gift, and this site may adjust their rules.

10. Disclaimer

• Machine recognition and translation results are for reference only; always proofread them by hand before publishing. This site is not liable for losses caused by using unproofread results directly.
• Please back up your original material before use. Although we automatically clean up uploaded files after a task, we are not liable to compensate for any data loss.
• This site is not liable for losses caused by network failures, third-party service interruptions, or other causes beyond this site’s control.

11. Updates to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time; when they are, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

The formation and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit before the competent people’s court at the place where the operator of this site is located.
